Common questions
My furnace stopped. What should I check first?
Thermostat set to heat and batteries fresh, furnace switch on (looks like a light switch), filter not clogged, and the exhaust pipe outside not blocked by snow. Still nothing? Call — we’ll talk you through it before sending someone.
How long does a furnace replacement take?
Most are done in 6–8 hours. We keep portable heaters on the trucks if you’re without heat during the swap.
Do heat pumps really work in Winnipeg?
Cold-climate models heat efficiently to around −25 °C to −30 °C. For the colder days, a dual-fuel setup switches to gas automatically.
Are there rebates?
Utility and government programs change often. We check what you qualify for at the in-home visit and handle the paperwork.
Do you charge extra on weekends?
Plan members never pay overtime. Otherwise, after-hours calls have a $75 surcharge — we tell you before booking.
